Tokyo Expressway 600 tunes.
Winning setups and clean-race tips — cars you can buy any time, no engine swap required.
The GT7 Tokyo Expressway 600 race is one of the fastest ways to stack credits in Gran Turismo 7—but it’s also one of the trickiest to master. Between the wet roads, tight traffic, and the constant risk of losing your clean race bonus, this event can punish even experienced drivers. I’ve spent countless hours testing setups to find the tunes that not only win, but win fast—without relying on rare engine swaps. If you’re looking for consistently fast laps and big payouts, with cars you can buy anytime, you’re in the right place.
Now, there are plenty of guides on YouTube for cars and setups you can use to conquer this challenge. My goal here is to provide sort of a cheat sheet for my setups that I can use to win. I also want to target more novice players, and as such, I’ll be including mostly cars that you can purchase any time and that don’t require engine swaps (though I will note which ones are swapped so you can avoid them if you’re not able to swap yet).
With that said, below is a list of the cars with some info on how they performed. You can click the link and head to a page with the parts I used and the tuning required to set the car up. You can use the sort and filter functions to find your favorite car. Bookmark this page because I’ll be adding more as I go along. And feel free to comment if there is a car you specifically want a tune for.
Happy racing!
